I've been reading "Does Salvation Make a Difference?" by David Cloud from Way of Life ministries that has really encouraged me, a doctrine that is not strongly preached today even in "Independent, Bible believin', soul winnin', BAPTIST" churches." Which is the doctrine of salvation, and the repentance it brings in one who truly is born again. This doctrine in my opinion has produced a whole lot of errors, and false doctrines within our movement today, that has likewise effected our methodology. I hope to expound upon this sometime, but here is the link.
